A short while later, we were dropped off at the Lazy Bear Lodge. On the way, we got a "tour" of the town because the cab had to drop off a Doctor who had just flown into town for a couple of days.
The lodge was very cozy. The room consisted of 2 beds, a TV, a nightstand, a phone and a shelf. There was also a private bathroom, which seems to be somewhat of a luxury in Churchill.
We made the trip to Churchill, about a month after 9-11. Nearly all of the businesses in this Canadian town flew the American flag along side the Canadian flag. This is the view outside our room. It was windy about 99.9% of the time.
