The bus picked us up at the lodge right on time. It was about a 15-20 minute bumpy ride to the place where they keep the buggies. We walked up stairs to access the rear entrance of our buggy. You can get an idea of the size of the buggy when you compare it to the van in the photo on the left.
We were with 3 other couples, so there were only 8 of us in a buggy that could hold many, many more. It was very nice.  We all got along very well and we had plenty of space!
Once in the buggy, we head out in the tundra in search of wild life. There are trails the buggies take, but they are capable of going literally anywhere - and sometimes they do. This is the view from the passenger side of the windshield.
As you might imagine, we weren't the only buggies out for an evening ride. There was another buggy behind us.
